Papa Vananasham is also Known as Papa Nasanam, Which is located within a 10 KM distance from Tirumala Srivari temple. According to Brahma Purana, taking a holy bath here on Shuklasaptami day of Ashviyujamasam on a Sunday with Uttarasha Nakshatra is very sacred. It is said that Sri Venkateswara Swamy himself took bath in this Pushkarini. Bathing here is said to be a ritual. By performing this tirtha at the bath, one gets the most merit. It is widely believed by the devotees that this tirtha originated from the lotus feet of Srivari. Devotees believe that bathing in Akasa Ganga will give the same results as auspicious deeds.

TTD has provided a free bus facility to see Papa Vanashana. There is also the facility of going by taxi. APSRTC buses from Kalyani Satram (choultry) near CRO every 2 mins There is one.

Papavinasanam is open from 06 AM to 06 PM in day. It is recommended to visit between in that timings.
