A poor Brahmin woman who had recently experienced early widowhood appealed for charity in order to maintain her and her son. She once noticed a royal child laying injured in the middle of the road as she was making her way back to her cottage. Later, the woman brought the hurt prince home to receive medical attention. One of them was Prince. Years went by, and one-day Anshumati, a princess of the Gandharva, fell in love with a prince. She immediately fell in love with the prince

A few days later, Anshumati brought her parents and a marriage proposal when they went to the poor Brahmin’s home. Anshumati’s parents had a dream in which Lord Shiva urged them to arrange for their daughter to marry a prince. So, seeing Shiva’s order as a blessing, Anshumati’s parents wed their daughter to a prince. Later, the prince vanquished (war) a freed (escaped) his imprisoned parents. And he recovered the lost kingdom.

The Brahmin woman and her son were then brought to the prince’s palace as a sign of gratitude, and the prince gave them new lives as a way of repaying those who had helped him in his hour of need. The important thing to take away from this story is that despite her tremendous destitution, the impoverished Brahmin woman remembered to fast on Pradosha day. She devoted her life to worshipping Lord Shiva. As a result, it is stated that individuals who fast on Pradosha with the utmost dedication receive Lord Shiva’s blessings.

Pradosham is known as Shani Pradosha . Shani dev is referred to as “Saturday’s Lord” by people. Use gingelly oil to perform a puja, yagna, or Tailabhishekam to Lord Shani today.

3. People must fast in order to appease Shani Dev.
4. The Shani trayodashi puja should include Thailabhishekam.
5. Bind some black grams, 100 gms of ginger oil packets, 1 kg of coal, a little black ribbon, eight iron nails, and navadhanyams and give them to the temple to please Shani Dev.
6. Priest or submerge it in a stream or river.
7. Feed the starving man and give the crow some bread.
8. You shouldn’t buy oil, an umbrella, leather, navadhanyams, or anything else this Saturday.
