Shani Trayodashi/ What is Shani Trayodashi:
Shani Trayodashi is performed when Trayodashi Tithi in the Telugu calendar and Saturday comes at the same time. Trayodashi Tithi on Saturday is celebrated as Shani Trayodashi. During Shani Trayodashi God Shani and Lord Shiva are honored and performed pooja in high measures. On the day of Shani Trayodashi, people perform Thailabhishekam to God Shani and also to Lord Shiva.
According to Hindu Dharma performing pooja or Thailabhishekam to God Shani, especially on the day of Shani Trayodashi, the people who have major Shani doshas in their horoscopes or Jatakam can get relaxations. And also performing Rudra Abhishekam on Shani Trayodashi mainly in Pradosha Kalam will remove Apamrutyu Doshas. Shani Trayodashi is performed in almost all the temples of India.
In some places on the day of Shani Trayodashi, people perform Thailabhishekam and also Rudarabhishekam to God Shani and also Lord Shiva, and after the pooja, people observe fasting.

How To Do Shani Trayodashi Pooja:
- People have to take a head bath in the morning and have to perform normal pooja in their houses.
- After that people have to visit a nearby temple and have to perform special poojas to the God Shani in Navagrahas.
- After that people have to do pradakshina to Navagrahas by reciting Navagraha Stotram.
- Then people have to perform Thailabhishekam to the God Shani.
- In the pradosha kalam, it is very good to perform Rudrabhishekam to Lord Shiva.
