• Vishnu Panchaka Vratha entails five fasts that are to be performed during the masa on the following days: the day of the Shravana Nakshatra, two Ekadashis, Pournami, and Amavasya.
• Eka Bhuktha is also known as Naktha Bhojana, and it involves abstaining from food completely throughout the day and eating just one meal after sunset.
• On each and every day of the masa, Thamboola Dana will address brahmin couples.
• Bagina dana requires that women distribute Baginas to at least 33 women as a form of charity.
• Apoopa Dana refers to the Apoopas that are made by preparing Rice, Jaggery, and Ghee. There will be a giveaway of at least 33 apoopas. It is stated that doing so would provide Vishesha Phala.
• Phala Dana is also performed in the Adhika Masam, it requires 33 fruits of different varieties.
• Anyone can perform this Adhika Masa Dana and rituals but in a traditional way.
• Adhika Masam is mainly known for the puja rituals and charities done by the people.
