In the year 2023, Teppotsavam will be held in the month of March, from March 3, 2023, to March 7, 2023.

The Srivari Pushkarini, also known as the heavenly tank, is approached by a new set of floats on each of the days leading up to the big finale. Utsav Murtis are the names given to the idols of the deities since they were created with the intention of being taken outside of the sanctuary. The mada streets, which are located close to the main structure, are used to transport the idols to the temple complex.

Upon the completion of the circuit around the tank, the Murtis are placed onto colorfully painted floats and transported to the Vasantha Mandapam, which is located in the center of the water body. This Mandapam is a building with four pillars that were constructed in the Pushkarini and is used for holding special prayers.

Rituals followed in Tirumala Teppotsavam:

On the first day, which is known as Ekadasi, a beautifully painted float that features Lord Rama, his celestial wife Lady Sita, as well as Lord Laksmana and Lord Hanuman, is brought out to the pond. Onlookers are treated to calming chanting of the Holy Scriptures and grandiose music from local musicians as the procession completes three circuits through the mada streets.

On the second day, which is known as Dvadasi, another avatar of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna and his spouse, Lady Rukmini, are taken on a heavenly trip to the tank. This takes place during the Dvadasi festival. The scene is very captivating to see, especially when the invocations ask the lords to shower the devotees with their blessings of compassion and wealth. After the completion of three circuits of the path, the deities are then brought to the pond.

On the third, fourth, and final day of the festival, known as Trayodashi, Chaturdashi, and Pournami respectively, elaborately decorated floats are brought to the Srivari Pushkarini amidst a great deal of fanfare. These floats carry the presiding deity of Tirumala, known as Sri Malayappa Swami, as well as his consorts Lady Sridevi and Lady Bhudevi. During the third, fourth, and fifth days of the Teppotsavam, respectively, three, five, and seven rounds are taken out.
