As per Telugu Panchangam and Calender, Karthika Masam Starts on 26 October 2022 and ends on 08 November 2022.

Karthika Masam is a very important and the most sacred month to all shiva and Vishnu devotees. People will go to Lord Shiva Temple in this Karthika Masam. The Monday with Ekadasi is the most sacred day in the entire Karthika Month. As per Sanathana Dharma, doing fasting and pooja to Lord Shiva on the day of Shravana Nakshatra in Karthika Masam gives “Koti Somavara Upavasa Phala”. Offering Bilwa Patri, Ganga Jala, Bhasma to Lord Shiva, And Tulasi Patra, Parijatha Pushpa to Lord Vishnu this month will full fill all our needs in our Life.

Karthika Masam do and Donts

Karthika Masam is the Light festival month. As per Sanathana Dharma, Pitru devatha who visited Bhuloka on Pithru paksha, they will return to their lokas in this Karthika month. So, for the light purpose to them, doing Deepa Dhana (Lamp Donation) gives wonderful results, and also doing pithru dosha nivarana. By doing Deepa dana, all Santana dosham would be resolved.
