Vaikunta Ekadashi:

According to the Hindu Calendar, Vaikunta Ekadashi is the 11th Tithi in both Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha. Ekadashi Tithi comes twice a month and people observe fasting on this day. Vaikunta Ekadashi is one of the most significant in all the Ekadashi Tithis. According to Hindu Calendar, Vaikunta Ekadashi is observed in the month of Marghashira. According to Hindu Calendar, Vaikunta Ekadashi is observed in the months of January- February. In some places, Vaikunta Ekadashi is also called Mukkoti Ekadashi.

On the day of vaikunta Ekadashi Lord Venkateshwara Swamy is offered various types of poojas and all temples of Lord Vishnu and Lord Venkateshwara organize Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam. In Tirumala temple, the night of Dashami means the night before Vaikunta Ekadashi, the main entrance of the temple is closed and people are allowed inside the temple through Vaikunta Dwaram.

In Tirumala Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Vaikunta Ekadashi, vaikunta Dwara Darshan starts from January 02, 2023 Monday and ends on January 23, 2023 Saturday.

Lakhs of people visit Tirumala temple to seek the blessings of the deity. During these 20 days, people are allowed to enter and exit through the Vaikunta Dwaram or Moksha Dwaram. Reciting Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Stotram on the day of Vaikunta Ekadashi gives good results.
