Murugan Thirukalyanam Skanda Sashti 2022 Dates Tiruchendur

• This year Sri Murugan Thirukalyanam will be on October 31, 2022.
• At 5 o’clock, Murugan Thirukalyanam 2022 begins.
• The Tiruchendur Temple opens at three in the morning on Thirukalyanam and conducts pujas.
• Deivanai Ambal then made his way to the spot where he would perform his penance(tapas) at five in the morning.
• Around 6:30 p.m, Murugan and Deivanai will exchange garlands, which will be the primary event.
• The Thirukalyana Vaipavam then takes place in the temple hall as people recite Vedic mantras after they both arrive in the chariot procession.
• For the next three days after Thirukalyanam, Murugan and Deivanai will be seen swinging in the Thirukalyanam Mandapam.
