Nagula Chavithi is celebrated on the fourth day following Deepavali Amavasya in the Karthika month as a festival to honor the Serpent Gods or Nag Devatas. Married women typically observe Nagula Chavithi for the benefit of their kids.
In various areas of Karnataka and the state of Andhra Pradesh, Nagula Chavithi is a well-known celebration. Any Puja offering made to snakes is thought to be accepted by the Serpent Gods.
