What is Ekanta Seva?

In this Ekantha Seva Lord Venkateshwara Swamy is put to sleep with Annamaya Keerthana. Ekanta Seva is the last seva and is performed at night before the temple closes. During Ekanta Seva, the idol of Bhoga Srinivas Murthy is placed on the golden Cot and is made to sleep on the Golden cot. According to Mythology, it is believed that Lord Brahma comes near the temple every night after it is closed and performs pooja to Lord Venkateshwara Swamy, so in the night times, all the pooja items are left likewise for the usage of Lord Brahma.

Tirumala Ekantha Seva Timings And Online Booking Today

Tirumala Ekanta Seva is the daily seva and performed daily from 1.00 AM to 1.30 AM. Timings of Ekanta Seva are temporarily altered on the days of festivals are any other occasion. Sometimes pilgrims are not allowed physically to watch Ekantha Seva. Ekanta Seva is performed within the temple.
