Sankatahara Chaturti: 

Sankatahara Chaturti is a festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha other than Vinayaka Chavithi. Vinayaka Chavithi is celebrated only once a year but Sankatahara Chaturti will be celebrated every month on a specific date. Sankatahara Chaturti is also called as Sankastha Chaturti. People believe that worshipping Lord Vinayaka on the day of Sankatahara Chaturthi will give them the stability to face hurdles in life.
