Sri Kanaka Durga Temple:

Sri Kanaka Durga Temple is one of the most famous temples and is an abode of Goddess Kanaka Durga. This temple is located 3 Km from the city center. This temple is situated on Indrakeeladri hills along the banks of the River Krishna.

Undavalli Hills:

These Undavalli Hills and caves are very ancient and date before the 7th century. These hills are located 7 Km from the city center. In Undavalli Hills caves are carved and these are three stories high. The main attraction of Undavalli Hills is the Statue of Lord Shiva carved out of a single granite stone is present here.

Kondapalli Fort:

Kondapalli Fort is 18 Km away from the city center and has its own history. This fort is constructed as a center for business. It will be very pleasant to see the extraordinary architecture of Kondapalli Fort.

Bhavani Island:

The New Capital of Andhra Pradesh state is located at a distance of 32 Km from Vijayawada. This is also one of the most important centers for Buddhists. The main attraction is the largest stupa built by Acharya Nagarjuna, 2000 years ago.
