Pandharpur Vitthal Rukmini Temple Special Sevas Timings List

Kakad Aarti:

At the Pandharpur Temple, the Kakad Aarti, which is also known as the Aarti, is conducted every day at 4.30 AMin the morning for the Lord. A variation of the Mangal Aarti that is done in the morning, the Kakad Aarti is intended to rouse the god. A number of chants and Stotrams are repeated in order to create a sacred atmosphere that is favorable to the Lord’s awakening at this time.

Nithya Pooja:

The normal Pooja starts with a traditional washing of the Lord with Panchamrit, which consists of milk curd, honey, sugar, and ghee. This is followed by the Nitya Pooja. Following this, in preparation for the morning darshan, the Lord is decked up in the traditional garb of the area. This Pooja is carried out between the hours of 5.00 AM and 6.00 AM in the morning.

Maha Pooja:

The Mahapuja is a Pooja that the devotees may do for themselves if they pay the required amount of money. On the devotee’s behalf, a number of different Poojas and shlokas will be chanted. These rites are carried out between the hours of 7.00 AM and 8.00 AM in the morning.

Maha Naivedyam:

In the ceremony known as Mahanaivedyam, various kinds of food, mostly consisting of rice, lentils, and sweets, are presented to the Lord. This takes place between the hours of 11.00 AM and 11:15 AM inĀ the morning.

Poshaka Pooja:

In preparation for the evening darshan, the jewelry, and clothing worn by the Lord are given a fresh set during the Poshakh Pooja.

Dhoop Aarti:

The Dhoop Aarti, also known as the evening Aarti, is performed between the hours of 7.00 PM and 7:30 PM in the evening. After then, a supper of Naivedyam is presented to the Lord as an offering.

Shej Aarti:

Shej Aarti The Night Aarti, also known as the Shej Aarti, is conducted at the Pandharpur Temple at ten o’clock at night. The decorations are taken off of the god, and then milk and sugar are presented as a sacrifice. The Lord is let to sleep even though the priests are continuing to sing around him.

    We are planning to visit Pandharpur Vittal temple on 29and 30 Dec 2023. We are about 6 people including one child aged 12 years.

    We would like to book Padya Pooja on 29 Dec and Mahapuja on 30 Dec 2023.please advise on booking process and payment
