According to Sanathana Dharma Tirumala is considered  Kaliyuga Vaikuntam, where the temple of  Lord Venkateshwara also known as Kaliyuga Daivam is located. Devotees believe that entering the seven hills of Tirumala to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara is their fortune. Tirumala is located in Tirupathi District in Andhra Pradesh state. Tirumala is also known as the Land of Utsavas. Yearly many utsavas are performed to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara in which Tirumala Brahmotsavams are considered most sacred and performed grandly by TTD Management. Lakhs of pilgrims visit Tirumala Temple to have a look at Brahmotsavam and seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara.

Tirumala Brahmotsavam

In Tirumala Temple, Brahmotsavams are held for 10 days starting from Ankurarpanam held on the first day. Temple is cleaned and swept on the day of Ankurarpanam. Dwajarohanam indicates starting of Brahmotsavams which starts with hosting the flag of Garuda. During the Brahmotsavams, Lord Venkateshwara rides on different Vahanas, and lakhs of people worship the deity on these special days to seek his blessings.

 This year in 2022 Tirumala Brahmotsavams are started on September 26 with Ankurarpanam and ends on October 05 with Chakra Sanam. In the period of these 10 days, lakhs of devotees worship Lord Venkateshwara.
