Tiruchendur Temple Special Archana Darshan Tickets Online Booking and History

There was once an Asura who went by the name of Soorapadman. He had a habit of upsetting all of the Deva devas with his actions. The gods then presented Lord Shiva with a petition requesting that he destroy Soorapadman. When Lord Shiva opened his third eye, Lord Murugan emerged from the sparks of light that were created as a result. Murugan is given the task of removing Soorapadman by Lord Shiva.

While everything was going on, the Devas were offering prayers to Lord Murugan or Subramaniya Swamy. It was then that he was introduced to Coach Bhagavan and given information on Soorapadman. Even though Lord Murugan had despatched a messenger with the intention of persuading the Soorapadman, he did not listen. As a result, Lord Murugan leads his army to victory and vanquishes the Sooorapadman. Because this is Coach Bhagavan’s preference, he will remain in this location. This location was once known as Tirujeyanthipuram, but later changed its name to “Tiruchendur.”
