Rameshwaram Temple 22 Wells Bath Timings Today

22 wells bath in Rameshwaram temple is one of the most sacred things and is considered auspicious by all the pilgrims. Pilgrims after taking bath in the sea come to these wells to take a sacred bath. Pilgrims are not needed to step into the well there will be a person near every well and water is taken out from the well with a bucket tied with a rope. Pilgrims have to pour that water from the bucket onto their heads.

  • All the wells in Rameshwaram are opened every day.
  • In the morning Wells is open from 5.30 AM – 12.00 PM, in the evening wells are open from 3.30 PM – 6.00 PM.
  • Temple Authorities will allow people to have holy baths in all 22 wells daily.

People will be grouped into batches and water is distributed among them. There will be a heavy crowd for wells bath during festivals or any other events. Online booking is also available for wells bath but daily a limited amount of tickets are released.
