In the deep forest, however, Shri Mahanth Ji was unable to locate Hanumanji. Later, he prayed to Lord Hanuman as Lord Bala Hanuman. Then he recognized Lord Hanuman and began praying to him, instructing the people to do the same in order to heal bad spirits and mysterious maladies. Since then, Lord Hanuman has been worshipped as Lord Balaji.
