What are the rituals to be followed at Maha Bharani Shraddha?

The one who is doing the Bharani Shraddha is required to keep control over their senses and abstain from getting haircuts or shaving throughout the ceremony. Following the completion of the ‘Tarpan’ rite, Brahmins are presented with’saatvik’ food, sweets, garments, and a contribution known as Dakshina. Because it is believed, in accordance with Hindu mythology, that the food ingested by Brahmins makes its way to the spirits of the deceased, this rite maintains a very significant place in the religion.

Crows are traditionally given food and water on the day of Bharani Shraddha because it is believed that Lord Yama uses them as messengers. In addition to that, food is provided for the dogs and the cows. It is thought that doing the Bharani Shraddha ceremonies with devotion and honesty would provide calm to the freed soul, which will then reward the descendants of the person who performed the rituals with protection, prosperity, and tranquility.
