Every day Dwaraka Temples opens in the morning at 6.30 Am and closes at the night at 9.30 PM.

This important temple of Dwarka is also known as ‘Jagatmandir’. According to legends, the original idol of this Jagatmandir or Dwarkadhisha temple is 2500 years old and was built by Vajranabha, the great-grandson of Lord Krishna. It is also said to have been built during the rebuilding of the city after Dwaraka was submerged in water after the Mahabharata war. The rest of the artistic temples around the Jagatmandir are said to have been built in the 16th century.

The 43-meter-high pillar of the temple and the flag surmounted by the sun and moon can be seen from a distance of 10 km. This temple is built of limestone. This temple has two gates called Swarga Dwara and Moksha Dwara. Devotees can enter and exit the temple through these. Dwarkadhish Temple is open for public darshan from 7 am to 9.30 pm. Closed from 12.30 to 5 in the middle.
