Draksharamam Temple:
Draksharamam Temple is one of the most famous temples in India and is also one of the temples in Pancha Kshetras. In this temple, Lord Shiva is called Bhimesvara Swamy and is situated along with Goddess Parvathi Devi and is called Manikyamaba Devi. This is one of the ancient temples in India located in the East Godavari District. Goddess Manikyamba Devi temple is one of the 18 Shakti peethas.

History Behind Draksharamam Temple:
After killing the demon Tarakasura, Lord Kumara Swamy destroyed the Atma linga and shredded it into pieces. That pieces of Atma Linga fell in 5 different places and those places are called Pancha Kshetras. The first Kshetra is Amareshwaram in Amaravati, Second Kshetra is Someswara Temple in Bheemeswaram, and the third one is Ksheera Ramalingeswara in Palakollu, the Fourth one is Kumara Rama Bheemeswara in Samaralakota, and the fifth one is Bheemeshwara Swamy in Draksharamam.
In Draksharamam Bheemeswara Swamy temple is located on the banks of the River Godavari. In Draksharamam Godavari is named Saptha Godavari as the River Godavari came here at the request of the Seven Sages, so River Godavari is named as Saptha Godavari.

- Draksharamam Temple daily follows the same timings except on the days of festivals or special days. On the days of festivals, the timings of the temples are slightly altered temporarily.
- Draksharamam daily opens at 5.00 Am and closes at 8.00 PM
- Draksharamam Temple opens from 5.00 AM to 12.00 PM in noon and in the evening it opens from 3.00 PM to 8.00 Pm.
