On a number of days throughout the year, an idol of Lord Venkateshwara is transported through the city in the form of a procession on a variety of different types of vehicles. A gold-ornamented and precious stone-adorned black idol of Lord Balaji is carried through the streets as part of the procession.

Tirumala Navaratri Brahmotsavams Vahana Seva Details and Importance:
In a manner similar to Navaratri, the Brahmotsavam festival is staged over the course of nine days at the commencement of the Ashweeja masam. The ceremony known as Ankurarpanam, which involves planting seeds to represent fertility and plenty, takes place the night before the first day.
The Dwajarohanam ceremony, in which the Garuda flag is hoisted to mark the commencement of the festival, is the primary event that takes place on the first day. During the course of the festival, there will be daily homas as well as processions taking place on the walkway that surrounds both the inside and outside of the temple.
The last day is dedicated to remembering the natal star of Venkateswara. In the last ceremony, which is known as Avabrutha or Chakra Snanam, the Sudarshana Chakra is submerged in the holy water of the temple tank together with the worshippers. After that, the Chakra is put on a raised platform, and the devotees walk below it to get the blessing of the water that drips from it. Dhvajavarohanam, also known as the lowering of the Garuda flag, is the ceremony that marks the conclusion of the festival.
