The most vibrant religious festival, “Pushpayagam,” which is planned to take place on Friday, October 31, in Tirumala temple with Ankurarpanam on Thursday evening, October 30, is one that the Lord of Festivities is ready to take part in.

TTD Tirumala 2022 Pushpayagam Dates Online Booking Tickets

  1. The Pushpayagam will be conducted on Friday, October 31, from 1 to 5 p.m.
  2. Due to Pushpayagam, T.T.D. has canceled all Arjitha sevas, including Nijapada Darshanam, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Vasanthotsavam, and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva on Thursday, Oct. 30. On Friday, Oct. 31, following this yearly religious event, all arjitha sevas, including Nijapada Darshanam.
  3. The annual Pushpayagam seva at Srivari Temple in Tirumala will be held on November 1, 2022, at 8:00 AM, and tickets can be purchased starting on October 10 at 10 a.m.

Purpose Of Doing PushpaYagam in Tirumala:

  • According to the temple tradition, T.T.D brought back this floral festival in the 1980s after it had fallen out of favor in the early 15th century.
  • According to the scriptures, this festival is typically celebrated to satisfy the Lord and protect people, flora, and fauna from all-natural disasters like as earthquakes, cyclones, and epidemics.
  • The annual festival known as PushpaYagam is held in the temple of Lord Srinivasa in Tirumala. According to the Hindu calendar, PushpayaYagam is followed by the Annual Brahmotsavam during Karthika Maasam.
  • During Pushpayagam, Srivaru is worshipped with seven tonnes of flowers, including lilies, roses, chrysanthemums, mogali, etc. These flowers were plunged into neck-deep water in the sea of the flower beds to pay floral homage to the gods.
