1. Yugaadi:

The first day of Chaitra masa, which appears on the Hindu lunar calendar, is the day that is believed to be the first day of the New Year. This holiday is observed with a great deal of pomp and show. On the night before the first day of masa,  a tray that is full of coconuts, gems, fruits, and a mirror is put in front of the murti of Lord Krishna. These fortunate items are seen first thing in the morning, as soon as the sun comes up. This is a part of the Kani Darshana rite. After that, the priest will read from the almanac while the swami will take an oil bath. Deities are honored by the preparation and offering of special foods. A spectacular feast is going to take place at Cauki.

2. Sri Rama Navami:

On account of the significance of this event, the traditional rope and churning rod that is usually used to adorn the statue of Lord Krishna has been replaced with a bow and arrow. Devotees are invited to partake in the Prasadam meal around midday, and the evenings include a vehicle festival. There will be arrangements made for special services. Additionally, since the idol of Sri Palimar Mutt depicts Lord Rama, the holiday is celebrated with a great deal of jubilation and fervor at this particular mutt.

3. Akshaya Tritiya:

On the third day of the brilliant fortnight of Vaisakha masa, Lord Vishnu takes the form of Parashurama. This day marks the beginning of the Vaisakha festival. During this occasion, the idol is shown as striking a heroic posture by brandishing an axe in one of its hands. This event is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the passing of Sri Vijayadhvajacharya, who served as the sixth pontiff in the lineage of Sri Pejawar Mutt. At the Krishna Mutt, unique celebrations of various kinds are held.

4. Vasantootsava:

Between the Akshaya Tritiya and the full moon day in Vaisakha, the festival of spring is celebrated. Vaisakha is the month. The mandapa pooja, which is normally performed in the sanctum sanctorum, is now being performed at the Vasanta mahal for some reason.

5. Ganesh Chaturthi:

Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that takes place on the fourth day of the bright fortnight of the month of Bhadrapada. In the name of the Lord  Ganesha who has the face of an elephant, special pujas are carried out. The mud idol of Lord Ganesha is created by skilled artisans, and it is purchased at the most auspicious hour. The region around it has been adorned aesthetically. The festivities that will take place over the following four days are sure to be a visual feast for those attending.

In addition, an idol of the Hindu god Ganesha may be seen at the shrine’s front entrance. Sacrifices called Gana Homa are carried out by the priests. After offering adoration to the Lord in the form of Vivambhara, prasad is then served to the many devotees in attendance. After these four days have passed, the idol is subsequently carried through the streets in a parade before being submerged in the Sarovar.
